This great funky boot by Hope was actually mine for 5 days or was at least sitting in my hallway for the 5 days, me glancing at them not being able to decide. Finally I decided against. Why? Being updated is sometimes about how you create variations with small means. I found this super nice silk fabric with a Japanese inspired print while browsing the Garment district and fell in love. So much that I had to create something from it. At the time I didn't have access to my sewing machine so I actually attached the fabric to the T-shirt by hand sewing.
