Bringing out the plaid pencil skirt for a basic office outfit. Some days are just not highly fashionable, they are just plain outright ordinary. Those days the trick is to be as updated as you can in your thoughts about how to combine and pick out the skirt, shirt, blazer/cardigan.
For this winter I’m thinking longer skirts – basically I’ve picked out the skirts in my closet that go below the knee. If you have it in plaid, bring them out!
As for the top, a white tee is my favorit go to and I always have a new white that’s not stained and is pristine white. Usually that means that the cut will be updated as well. Last couple of seasons I try to wear more shirts, here you see one of my favorit white shirts from J.Crew. This style is very classic in it’s colours of grey and white.
A little bit of updated touch is added through the accessories. A pair of ankle boots would be great although I personally consider my safest go-to is the higher winter boots. I’m very minimalistic in my choices of jewelry, so I’m very much into the tiny earrings. The one’s I wore today can be seen here. For this style I could have gone for the chunky pearl earrings that can be seen here. To this style it would have added a bit of interest.
