A graphic print on a classic pencil skirt makes it a statement rather than just the plain vanilla garment. I have used it many times over the years. Especially when it comes to my own sewings; pick a fabric out of the ordinary and sew a classic pencil skirt. I promise you, it won’t pass unnoticed!
Here’s my take on this type of twist for this year and this time around I’ve actually bought the skirt @ Anthropology and it was a year since.
Besides the pattern and the slightly longer hemline there’s more to love about this skirt, the perfect fit attributed both to the cut AND from the polyester stretch fabric. I rarely give in to buying clothes in polyester but this time I have to admit that it makes the skirt fantastic. The fabric is super stretchy which means that the skirt can be both tight and slim at the same time as I can move around in it. What’s not to love about that?
