I’ve been obsessing about a new ring to replace my old silver ring for quite some time. I’ve been on the lookout whilst doing my sweeps in stores. However, unsuccessful until my trip to New York. With the ring in my mind I went over to ABC Carpet, one of my absolut favorite stores and I knew I could trust the selection there.
Always carrying so exquisite jewelry, classy but not too classical to become boring, expensive but not crazy, not to precious but wearable, and yet both funky and trendy. Jewelry is a very personal choice and so it should be. I don’t want to wear the same jewelry as everyone else. It always makes me laugh when I hear comments about the “it-jewelry”, “the” piece to wear. Why would I spend a huge amount of money on a jewelry worn by everyone else?
My jewelry is my pick and it becomes very personal. I wear my pieces for years and years, hardly changing at all. I have to admit I’m so consistent that it becomes totally boring (even for myself). But now I had my mind set on changing one of my rings.
I love the chunkiness of the ring and the somewhat classical setting with the diamonds surrounding a stone but the stone in itself is so unclassic, uneven in form and color. The ring is also rather big but still not obtrusive. One critical criteria for my pick was also that it had to work together with my silver bracelet. One of my essentials…
