I’ve been pondering for a while, over a new pair of jeans, and in a new style. Love my skinny Rag and Bones (2nd pair, same cut…) but felt a need for a change. My jeans need to be wearable at the office so I tend to go for darker fabrics, feels like the washed out are to much of street style. I actually was very close to buy a pair of baggy light blue Levi’s but finally decided against.
My pick is a cropped jeans, loose legged but slim over waist and hip, from the Swedish brand Dagmar. Denim colored on the darker side. And I love the detail with the exposed zipper.
Feels like an updated version that can be styled as today with my plaid office blazer or just a plain knit or top of any sort.
And while taking the pictures of me in my new jeans I also realize why the trend with skinny pants is so persistent… and it is parallell to the trend of blogging and instagram, its just very hard to capture the style of the looser pants without looking like a huge pile of fabric with no contour…
