There’s a lot of talk about transitioning, going natural color, silver pro against. Perhaps due to the lack of possibilities to do professional root touch ups!
I did my transitioning two years and I have NO regrets! I love my hair color and I feel so at ease, like my true self, in it! Back to being a blond but with the silver as a shine!
The transition was a huge success thanks to my hair dresser who convinced me to gradually go lighter for a couple of months before actually do really blond. The blond phase coincided with summer helping the sun to lighten up the color even more. To get rid of the yellow notes I was advised to use purple schampoo, which I still do, together with a toning who brought in colder notes.
The worst or the most of the outgrow was for about 6 months, and it’s unavoidable. You just have to make up your mind and stick to the plan! Eventually you will feel like it was a blink of an eye!

This is where I started from and looking at the color now I can’t understand what made me have this dark and unforgiving color…
Gradually my hair dresser lightened up the color by adding blond highlights and doing the base less dark.
Last step was to Go-Blonde
