Not the most beautiful picture of me, or rather, it might just be, the most wonderful picture of me! Everytime I’ve gone out surfing I’ve decided that it was my last time ever. But this year I’ve decided to surrender, surrender to the idea and concept of surfing. To just go with the flow, to fly whenever the wave brings me on. And this picture is all about that, me in the wetsuit surrendering to the impossible idea of surfing. I had to give up the idea of being a surfer in order to enjoy surfing! It took me much frustration and anger before I surrendered to the idea that I won’t ever be a skilled surfer, I will never be anything but an amateur and a beginner surfer but that doesn’t prevent me from enjoying the surfing!
So it’s a beautiful picture only because of the fun in me radiating!
