Isn’t it when you get bored that your mind & brain relaxe and suddenly creativity is stimulated and you can get that inspiration you needed to get going?
In the past Ive always had one or two projects going on, side by side, ready to be taken forward when time admits. But for a long period of time I’ve just been out of inspiration. No projects, nothing produced for at least two years.
And suddenly I just took off last Saturday! I’ve always bought too much fabrics, with the strategy to keep just in case! This time it served me really good as I just grabbed a beautiful stored wool brocade fabric woven in neutral to blush tones. Italian perfection!
I’ve my measures all noted down, a base pattern exists since long and the designs in my head. Can’t tell how many skirts I’ve done over the years but practice renders proficiency so the resulting skirt was finished in a couple of hours!
