This Sundays business is finally wrapped up! That’s it, winter is gone from my closet and replaced by spring and summer!! In the sense that my semi-yearly routine of storing the off season clothes like wool and heavier sweaters in plastic and boxes has been the focus of my activities today. And it feels so good!
This is also the occasion for sorting through and getting rid of the worn out stuff, the clothes that I feel are outdated and the pieces not worn for the last six months. Oh well according to other sources in the family (aka my husband) this doesn’t happen too often or in a very large extent… He should probably be just thankful because my closet cleaning includes his wardrobe as well!
This is a routine with a long history and at one time enforced by the occurrence of small bugs ruining almost the entire wool sweater collection for both me and my husband. Ever since I have almost religiously been pursuing this clean up of the storage space.
A little bit of feel good from feng shui and orderly closets finishes off my weekend!
