Subdued Colors
Love the combination of subdued colors - as today when styling the black suit with kaki. Or when the styling is done with the combination of black-navy, black-brown. The seasonality is brought into the style with the different fabrics - summer/fall style with a short sleeved tee and pointed flats in suede (could have been a sandal too). Later on the top will be replaced with long-sleeved wool and boots, colors remaining the same. Rust
Creating a mix of summer and fall by keeping the white summer shoes to be paired with a skirt in one of the trend colors this season, rust. Rust isn't really my best color so I went for a skirt. I have to keep it away from my face as it makes me look sick. And by adding the rust skirt to all my black, white, navy, brown and nude pieces it creates an illusion of new and trendy. Additional White In A New Take
As in adding white boots! And with them bringing in a feel of the 80ies to the black office suit & the strict white shirt! My husband take to describe the outfit was craziness... but I think he mostly referred to the fact that white shoes usually don’t stay white for very long ;).
