Walking down the lane of oversizing and trying to figure out how to make the trend justice. I usually combine an oversized item with a piece that is slim or showing the contrast. Trying to give some form to the oversized cut. Today I tried the combination of two wide and slightly oversized items.
It becomes quite a challenge when taking pictures as it’s very hard not to look too weird and out of context and shape.
Usually when you see a person IRL you see them move and your eye can perceive the forms or shape of the body underneath but on pictures of the style I find it hard to appreciate the style as I find it just weird and with a lack of form. I try and find the lines giving a context to the body. Does this mean I object to the oversized trend? Probably that’s the case. Or just as I do with a lot of trends, I adapt them to a way that I find it comfortable and flattering. And as you might have guessed I’m not there yet with the complete oversized styles.
