On My Green Theme
Love the combo of dark green & black. It's a little bit like combining navy & black, unexpectedly well suited together! I did a winter version of an outfit for my cotton shirt dress by adding a wool turtleneck underneath. With black knee-high boots I had a perfectly warm but still stylish outfit. The black belt marks the waist not to loose the curves from the little added bulkiness given by the turtleneck. How do you like it? Compared to the summer & fall styles with the same dress? Letting the blouse shine by keeping the rest very simple - black denim from Rag and Bone and black lace up boots. … [Read more...] about What Makes An Outfit Interesting?
Light Pink
Remember my newly made skirt in the most beautiful Italian wool brocade? Styling it with an old closet favorit knit in pink that I just realised would be perfect for this skirt! Knit is from a Swedish designer Anna Holtblad from whom I've been enjoying mostly her beautiful knits over the years. I would guess I've had this knit for almost 20 years and I've been keeping it to be worn on and off over the years. There are clothes that I just fall in love with and can't stand throwing away or sell, and this … [Read more...] about Light Pink
