.... took a road trip in the Austrian Alpes for a week. Thats what happens to you when your son decides to take a gap year to go skiing. He’s now working as a ski instructor at Bad Gastein which turned out to be our first stop. Never been before so I was very excited to try out both the location and the ski area! Transferred to the much beloved snow. Ready to try out the JaPow in Niseko, Hokkaido. One day of sun shine? Good for one thing - pictures of the stunning Mount Yotei. Apparently the first day in two weeks when it was visible... Check out the level of snow! You can always recognize a Swede from the ski gear.
