They have been hanging in the closet for two years.... Hiding or just me having this misguided idea that I would have to have a lining in them. I thought the wool flannel would be too itchy without a lining... But luckily I reconsidered after trying them on and here they are. Heavy wool flannel with rough edges both at the waist and at the bottom. Love the slightly light coloring of the light grey and the pink. Pants - my own making, both design and fabrication Top - Vince Knit - Miu miu … [Read more...] about DIY Wool Flannel Pants
Blues With A Pop Of Leo
One of my all-time favorit styles, with my blue DIY-Fashion-jacket and wide legged jeans, is up-dated this season with a new light blue turtleneck sweater and a belt with leo fur! This one is from Zadig & Voltaire and I couldn't resist the French theme - in golden letters! Skirt - plaid skirt by my own design and making Cardigan - Miu miu … [Read more...] about Jardin Des Tuileries
Winter Blues
Navy blue to start off March. Pairing my plaid wrap skirt with a non formal sweater, a crazy hairdo and invisible silver jewelry. Sweater is slightly bulky and boxy in style which is to create the contrast with the classic pattern of the skirt - as I said earlier this week - contrast is good! Sweater - HM Skirt - DIY with my own design Boots - Steve Madden … [Read more...] about Winter Blues
Mix’n And Matchin
You have seen them before, my old friends, the tartan wrap skirt and the black turtle neck knit. Can't go wrong with basics. Even though I consider the skirt being a classic tartan with a twist as it 's offered in the shape and cut of a wrap skirt. Skirt is a DIY Fashion piece from last year, see here, and the knit is from COS. Today, styled with blue ankle boots from Whyred. … [Read more...] about Mix’n And Matchin
